God Won't Have You is a third person game built in Unity, featuring a low poly environment and characters with painted textures. The player follows Ana, a young girl who has arrived to Purgatory. With no memory of her past life, Ana must navigate the bleak limbo of life and death and discover who she is and why she's in purgatory and if she can somehow escape it.
Everything in the game is created by me except for the gameplay soundtrack, the tree assets, most of the in game animations, and the ground texture!
Character Designs
Some concept art for Ana, the protagonist as well as the final turnaorund. Below is Fellhall, the angel she encounters. Fellhall had a couple different iterations but is still low poly, under 5000 tris. Along with the Fellhall turnaround is the cutscene with their appearance, which is fully animated by me.
Don’t Wake Daddy was a team project in my Introduction to Game Design class. You play as a young child who decides to escape their home due to their drunken father wreaking havoc every day since his tumultuous divorce. Find the snacks and leave home in search of your mother’s house. Whatever you do, don’t wake him up!
(Co-creators are Blaise Marino and Size Li, music by Ethan Jacobs)
Blobbin' Around is a 2D Unity Prototype that I created during my Production class. A whimsical game, you play as a blobfish who wanders around the sea floor. The only job is to eat and avoid predators, as well as deep sea fishing rigs that will bring you to the surface. Simultaneously, once you ascend a certain threshold, the blobfish will begin to distort and change color. It starts off with a narrative, the blobfish arriving above surface, accidentally caught by fishers. How did it get here? Only you can find out. All assets, scripts, and music were created by me. The characters are sprites created on Procreate, all of which I individually drew.
